Pros
When I first read the reviews for The FDA Group before I was hired, I almost thought it was too good to be true. Everyone works as a team to be successful. They are very open to hearing your ideas to improve the company. The CEO really cares for his employees and tries his best to get to know them. The work/life balance is amazing. They never have an issue if you have an appointment/errand or need to pick up your children from school. Culture is also great, such a fun/great group of people to work with. And did I mention the unlimited PTO??? Thanks The FDA Group!!
Cons
I have no complaints about the company.

Pros
Genuine team-oriented culture whose actions demonstrate concern for employees, clients and consultants alike. They consistently operate according to established principles. However, management is humble and therefore receptive to ideas that could result in improvement. It is a great place to work if you like integrity, honesty, being treated with respect and challenged to grow.
Cons
The pace can be fast sometimes, but where isn’t that true these days?

Pros
Lots of pharmaceutical and medical device regulatory work.
Cons
Poor compensation (80/20%) as compared to other companies. Management have business and marketing experience and sometimes do not understand regulatory or the need to screen consultants beforehand. Some ex-FDA consultants do not understand how to perform reconciliations and/or other regulatory compliance work due to lack of industry work, were poor workers at FDA, and/or do not have great FDA experience (i.e. less than 20 years) before joining company. As such, these problematic ex-FDA consultants are poor industry consultants and cause headaches for the clients. However, because management do not understand the quality aspects, they allow these poor consultants to work or do not want to listen to experienced ex-FDA consultants (who do not always get treated fairly).
The FDA Group Response9y
Dear Consultant, I wanted to reply to your review of your experience in working with The FDA Group. Firstly, I am sorry if you were not satisfied with the compensation you received. When we negotiate rates with consultants we look to achieve two goals. 1. To get a rate that will be competitive with industry and 2. To provide a rate that the consultant is happy with. Consultants who provide exceptional service at a competitive rate find themselves being as busy as they want to be. I would encourage you, if you are dissatisfied with you compensation, to reach out to me and I would be happy to share in a dialogue with you. The management team here at The FDA Group has dozens of years of quality and regulatory experience and our talent selection process is core to our business and our ability to provide a world-class service experience. By utilizing both former FDA and industry experts, The FDA Group is able to provide clients with an FDA point of view, reconciliation expertise, and regulatory compliance expertise. Our minimum requirement for personnel is 15 years FDA experience. The FDA Group manages all projects with internal personnel to monitor the quality of service delivered to assure that all of our clients receive a world class service experience. Our project management approach assures that if we are not meeting our clients' expectations, we rapidly adjust. We proudly post letters of recommendation from our clients on our website (www.thefdagroup.com/recommendations). The FDA Group’s ability to provide a world-class service experience for our clients is highly dependent on our staff. Staff are encouraged to contact me to communicate any concerns or constructive criticism they may have. Regards, Nicholas Capman President & CEO

Pros
The FDA Group culture makes you feel valued, respected and appreciated. I have never experienced working for a company that has it right in so many areas. The team has a diverse background of talent driven with a high sense of urgency to meet client needs. It’s refreshing to work in a positive work environment that truly values each individuals background and skill set.
Cons
Simultaneous projects demands hard work, availability, responsiveness and high quality to detail to meet client needs. Because the culture is so motivating and appreciated, this comes natural and rewarding to the team.
