    Pros

I enjoyed working with a very talented group of people. The business is changing rapidly, and they are working hard to to provide the tools and training required for success.

    Cons

They go through periods of having to do more with less, and the stress level reflects that.

    I worked at The Florida Times-Union full-time

    Pros

This was a great entry-level job. The people are great, a the workforce shrunk I had the opportunity to take in a lot of responsibility and gain experience.

    Cons

There is little to no job mobility. I received one raise in the 5 years I worked there. I gained experience but the pay was not worth staying. The management is also slow to advance in technology.

    Advice to Management

Reward hard work! Reward the people who stuck with the company and give them a reason to stay. Better pay, job opportunity would go a long way.

    Pros

The pros of working for the Florida time's union, is the amazing people you meet, and the lasting friendships you build.

    Cons

Lack of structure in management, benefits are not an option, and they do not treat you like an asset.

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at The Florida Times-Union full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Money is pretty good and co workers are ok. But don't take the time to get to know their names because they will either quit or be fired soon enough.

    Cons

Turnover is astronomical. In the short time working here, there have been an average of 2 employees a month that have either quit or gotten fired in one department alone!

    Advice to Management

Management should all be replaced. Threatening your employees and intimidating them is not the way to go.
