    Pros

Forum helps you to accomplish your best. The professional and positive guidance is what makes Forum employees successful. The commission structure is good and provides the incentive to be productive. Employee training and advanced technology offer the needed tools.

    Cons

Cubicles are nice, but I would appreciate more privacy.

I worked at The Forum Group full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

I worked at Forum for many years. It is the type of place you can establish a long term career. There are many well established relationships that have been developed over many, many years in business. The environment is not high pressure. I always felt a sense of ownership of my business with tremendous support when needed. I would recommend working there if you are serious about being successful and have the work ethic to make it happen.

    Cons

Could be a little more casual. Jeans one Friday a month can be increased.

    Advice to Management

    Summer Fridays would be nice.

I worked at The Forum Group (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you have a good recruiter, you're in good shape.

    Cons

The pool of jobs is still competitive even though they send you on interviews. Avoid any assignment associated with the yearly NYRA event.

    Pros

You won't find another agency with a more supportive management network. They truly want you to succeed and are more than happy to consult with any employee who needs guidance. My manager's goal is not to manage me, but to guide me to a place where I am my own boss. In recruiting, that should be the goal for anyone. I recommend Forum to anyone who has enough dedication and work ethic to build a business and run a full-desk.

    Cons

All negative reviews on this firm must be taken with a grain of salt, as most people writing reviews at all are ex-employees.

    Pros

Medical and Dental is available. I had a 5 month assignment at a university, good pay and great location.

    Cons

There is a lag between assignments and you have to harass your recruiter for assignments.

I worked at The Forum Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some of the employees were great too work with and I did build some great relationships. Other than the employees there are not any other pros I can think of.

    Cons

They think it's 1995 as they do not evolve with the times. They do not even have an electronic application for candidates to fill out. They use old systems and policies that are not with current times. There is no room to grow within the organization and the owners do not realize that they are where there are today because of the employees that dedicate there lives to the business.

    Advice to Management

Karma is not fun but what goes around comes around and I do not think they will be around in3-5 years.

I worked at The Forum Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work well with other financial venders and fast background results. Helpful staff and was able to start the position without little stress. Easy transition into new role.

    Cons

The position was long term contract. Was not a local company, everything done by phone or email. Payroll viewing system was difficult to use.
