I have been working at The Friedkin Group full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

I have been working for The Friedkin Group for over 5 years and have had the best experience. We have supportive leadership, opportunities for growth and awesome benefits. Our culture is family friendly, collaborative and the associates are bound by our strong values. We are a very lean organization so you can’t be afraid to work hard and take on a lot of things. I have taken on projects that have allowed me to grow my leadership skills with high visibility to leaders in the organization. It has been an amazing ride so far and I look forward to many more years with the company.

    Cons

I don't have any concerns at this time.

I have been working at The Friedkin Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Associates feel empowered to share ideas, communicate openly, and collaborate across the business at all levels. Company offers great benefits/perks from paid parental leave, personal days, free onsite fitness center, and access to a health navigator, along with the traditional health and wellness benefits. Associates can recognize peers through a targeted award program and the company provides associate appreciation days and family holiday events that reinforce the family culture. I would highly recommend the company to anyone. Great company and people.

    Cons

I don't have any concerns to share.

I worked at The Friedkin Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Alot of projects, tons of thought put in to integrating technology to make things work, and follow up process to improve what is already in place.

    Cons

Company culture could be daunting to learn, lots of history which resulted in alot of different group that grew out of needs. Could be a hard fit for someone like things to be done in a very homogenized way.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at The Friedkin Group full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The facility is wonderful with a top notch gym and instructors. The on-site cafe is handy (if overpriced). Company-wide events are excellent.

    Cons

The company culture is very much personality-driven. Everyone is trying to keep the CEO (who is rarely on-site) happy. If you can keep your direct manager happy, then you will be okay -- as long as they can keep the person above them happy. However, each manager is different. I found the decision-making process to be totally opaque. Decisions that related directly to the scope of my job and to me personally were made behind my back and without an opportunity for me to give input. If you are a woman, please be aware the the benefits (specifically related to women's health and maternity) are not progressive. Make sure you have any family leave policy in writing before considering this job.
