    Awesome Company!!

    Pros

The GEO Group is a great place to work and grow. The opportunities are endless for employees who care about the population and want to work hard. The company offers good pay, good benefits and supportive/attentive management. I've worked for the company for 6 years and have occupied 3 positions in that time. Work life doesn't get better than being a part of a company that promotes healthier individuals and communities. There are no words to express the rewards for guiding people to change and improve their lives. A population that society has unfortunately deemed unworthy. A paycheck is nice but being part of the personal transformations is its own motivation to keep going. GEO has invested in me and has been flexible with my needs. This shows great attention and appreciation of employees.

    Cons

It only takes a couple of bad attitudes in an office to poison the culture and mood for all. These should be addressed quickly and without delay. Some people don't want to work for their paycheck and do not find joy in helping others. These people do not belong with a company working to stay positive for the clients. The general public does not understand what we do. We need to speak out more so people can, at the very least, create an informed opinion before blindly bashing a company with a great mission worthy of support.

    Pros

The GEO Group Inc is a leader in the industry. Very diversified, has good benefits and care about its employees. I am an African- American and has been with the company for 17 years. Keep up the good job Dr. Zoley, Mr. Donahue and Mr. Brian Evans.

    Cons

Just like any other major corporation, there is always room for growth and improvement. The company has done a good job by making positive stride to respond to the yearnings of its employees.

    ISAP

    Pros

Geo is a large organization and there appeared to be good room for advancement within ISAP. Management for the ISAP program is very good. Good benefits, while I worked there they since they had pay and benefits under Service Contract Act .

    Cons

The ISAP program seemed too far apart from GEO. Although advancement within the ISAP program seemed possible, advancement within GEO did not.

    Horrible Company

    Business Outlook

    Pros

You get paid and have good benefits. Some staff are alright

    Cons

Horrible management, pay is really bad compared to the competition and you do more work than you are supposed to. Employees try to sabotage other employees, too many cliques worse than high school, people talk about other employees behind their backs. Huge disconnect between facilities, region, and corporate. Feels like no one cares about you. No bonuses but they pay for a lot of meaningless events. Admin staff is horrible. Not enough staff. Extremely high turn over rate. Other facilities treat you like you are not a part of the same company. They say we are team but really no one works together
