    Negative Outlook

I worked at The Giglione Ackerman Agency full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Owners are great! (Gig and AcK)
    Positive environment

    Cons

    1. All commission and not 780 dollars as stated in the group interview.
    2. You must pay 200 dollar for the class to be licensed as well as obtain your license for 175. And fingerprints for 62 dollars. ( basically the start up is high)
    3. There is a lack of organization in regards to immediate management.
    4. Professionalism is not there depending on whom your working with directly.
    5. There is no healthcare included and only a portion of the plan you buy from the market place is covered.
    6. The company recruits as a financial services company when it is an insurance sales company and there are no finance positions available.

    Advice to Management

Work on who you promote make sure they are ready to be supervising agents. Some people are inexperienced or lack the skill to be a great manger. David Hausman is an excellent manager he should be the hallmark for that

I worked at The Giglione Ackerman Agency full-time

    Pros

The opportunity is real and if you work the system as they teach it, you can make great money, especially in management.

    Cons

American Income is kind of like a junior varsity life insurance company. They have have mediocre products that aren't that competitive with better companies. Every meeting booked is based on a lie, and the goal is bait and switch. Meetings are booked on the premise of offering a free benefit and prospects are decieved into thinking they are scheduling a short visit. Instead they are almost always in for a surprise discussion on life insurance, and the agents are trained to try and make a sale and complete an application within 1 meeting. This company is sales centric and deceptive to the people it meets with. From a client perspective it makes almost no sense to buy American Income Life Insurance if the client is aware of what's available to them in the market and as an agent it doesn't feel great knowing we are deceiving people, trying to finesse them into buying insurance in one meeting, and not even offering competitive value.

    Advice to Management

There are great salesman and business minds in this company. No advice to middle management , the larger problem exists with the company and its philosophy of how to get clients.
