I have been working at The Grand America Hotel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The hotel is beautiful and you are always learning. You work with an amazing team to accomplish big goals.

    Cons

You work every holiday and have hard hours. It is the same throughout the hospitality industry though. The hotel is independent and there isn't a lot of room to grow withing the department you are in. You also don't have other location options to look at.

    Advice to Management

Provide better benefits and time off options. After the amount of work that goes in during holidays it would be nice to have a day to spend with family.

    Cons

Limited paid holidays for salery and full-time employees.

Work/Life balance depends on the department you work in.
