I have been working at The Hartford full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Paychecks are ok. Some benefits. The benefits have changed in many years been here. You will forget the benifits once all the other issues come in.

    Cons

Management keeps changing the rule. Cutting more and more support. Establishing more and more red tape. Run to the hills. I will move once I get a better position.

    Advice to Management

Think more about why you do these process. Respect your employees...

I have been working at The Hartford full-time

    Pros

    Flexible schedule, Customer Service Driven

    Cons

Zero work life balance, peer pressure, no employee engagement, unrealistic goals

    Advice to Management

You focus on providing exceptional CS but forget your employees are over worked and pressured into "push nights/weekends" to stay caught up and make their team look good or they don't get their bonus or raise. Forget your "staffing formula" to calculate how many people you "should" have and pilot upon pilots that don't help your employees, just hire people. Not everyone wants to work 50-60 hours every week.

    Pros

Can not think of any unless your a torture lover.

    Cons

Impossible work loads, systems not coordinated, no clerical support. Forget about a life outside of work, most inhumane people I've ever worked for, outright lie and use other employee's poor performance to discredit you, HR is not for the employee, escorts those who can stand it and not smart enough to quit out the door. You will not see management in heaven, may they rot in Hell. GOD help the modern day slaves.............

    Advice to Management

Remember you will meet your maker someday and he will not be forgiving to Hartford management.

You get free paid training and licensing. They have generous paid time off. Coworkers are great people.

    Cons

Very high turn over. Work load too heavy to meet expected criteria. Focused more on reports and statistics than employees which they consider to be disposable.
