    Pros

everyone at the hartford is pushing you to be part of the company, and enjoy the experience as much as possible. the work is demanding but not unfair, i was assigned to a great manager, and there are plenty of ways for the large intern class to get involved with the company. everyone there is helping you be your best.

    Cons

it seems like many of the employees have been in insurance for a while, so if you're not crazy about being in the insurance industry i would evaluate all of your options. they all seem to really enjoy the industry though.

    Growth and Many Opportunities

    Pros

The Hartford offers its employees an incredible array of job opportunities and internships to get you into the position that you feel most confident in. Work-life balance is great considering hours are flexible depending on the position and you start with 19 days of PTO and may buy an addition 5 days if you so desire.

    Cons

Work-life balance for claims analysts can be challenging when staffing is an issue, however upper management tries their best to accommodate and be understanding. Holidays are difficult to get time off for, often times it's a toss up whether you will get the time off even if you requested in advance.

    DIVERSITY VIOLATION

Sep 27, 2021 - Senior Database Administrator in Charlotte, NC

    Pros

Hartford is best for Outsourcing companies. The most low level worker from an Indian Outsourcing is powerful than the CIO or CEO combined as they belonged to the Capitalized Account. If you are from India this is the best company to work for.

    Cons

American citizens (caucasoid, Asian or even Indian, or African) are discriminated against brazenly. They are treated like dirt. HR is very anti American. They have sold their soul to Outsourcing companies. The top Management attends free work shops at Las Vegas and bring unworkable software to push it down the throat of the employees. Work life balance is non existent. Working up to 2 AM everyday is the norm rather than an exception
