    Advice to Management

Recognize the value that you have in your employees, pay them that way.

I have been working at The Haskell Company full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Not always micromanaged. Interesting company to work for.

    Cons

Horrible management in my department. While not a very bureaucratic company, there are tons of petty politics, power trips, and cliques. Very "fratty" mentality, and the people in the lower rungs are constantly disrespected.

    Advice to Management

Pay people what they deserve. Run your departments competently. Respect your subordinates efforts and show praise when warranted.

I have been working at The Haskell Company full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

For those who want to accept the responsibility, there is room for advancement. Generally, hours are more flexible to accommodate employees.

    Cons

The hours and pace can be challenging and overwhelming at times, but it isn't constant. Travel can get old, but that's the industry.

    "Project Manager"

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee in Jacksonville, FL

I worked at The Haskell Company (More than 8 years)

    Pros

You will work alongside top-notch individuals. The staff at Haskell is elite and you will learn a great deal. It's a very cooperate environment (in a good way) with a fast pace (feels like you're working at big firm with tons of people around you hitting deadlines, etc.). Certainly not a boring place.

    Cons

At Haskell there is a considerable amount of Execs, VP's, and Directors that are not job costed. Therefore, a good amount of overhead is required to support these higher salaries. The result is that lower/middle tier employees don't get paid well. You will be working your tail off for much less. However, if you advance to a more senior level you will be paid very well.

    Advice to Management

Increase pay for the employees who design/manage the projects.
