I worked at The Home Depot full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Benefits are very good. (Health, vision, dental insurance), match 401k by a percentage (forgot at the moment), and school advancement (need at least a B to get reimbursed).

Management in my team treated our office very well. Overall good company to work for, even when office politics was involved.

    Cons

Horrible pay raise. No room for growth opportunities. Home depot gave our office a small budget to purchase items, holiday parties, etc. No challenges.

    Advice to Management

Instead of providing “homer awards” please give us raises. One cannot live with this salary even in a FT position. Also, please provide more budget to all branches to keep the office honestly have their lights on.
