I have been working at The Home Depot full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The CORE Values are fabulous and training was thorough.

    Cons

Shawn is a yeller, the management is disorganized, cashier technology breaks down every day. They have favorites who get the prime shifts and allow unscheduled team members to clock in and work to get overtime.

    Advice to Management

Meet with your associates and talk - don't yell. Pay attention to the employees who are slackers and take advantage - no more favorites. Atlanta should pay attention to this store. It needs an overhaul in leadership.

    Pros

When I started their were benefits for part-timers. I don't know if that's still the case.

    Cons

Horrible management. Horrible training. Asking far too much for too little. Lots of taking advantage of people who do a good job.

    Advice to Management

A person's strengths are something to reward, not manipulate. Take a moment to listen to your employees.
