I worked at The Home Depot full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Stability, good benefits, extensive associate training, excellent programs for supporting community and employees in times of crisis or disaster. Fair compensation.

    Cons

High turnover of upper and middle management, frequently shifting priorities and strategies, decreasing opportunities for ownership/personal investment in the way things are done at a store level.

    Advice to Management

Invest more in creating a collaborative culture between management and employees, less rigid standardization.
