    Benefits for both full and part time employees. great training, oppurtunity for growth in the company and even get bonuses!

    Need to give employees more hours and hire more workers

    Pros

    Pay is pretty good. Benefits are okay.

    Cons

    Absolutely no work/life balance. I have copies of emails that I received from my old District Manager and RVP saying that all assistants were working 7 days a week during spring/summer. I understand the higher business demand, but 7 days a week for months at a time is pretty ridiculous. Stores are measured on customer satisfaction surveys...but employees and some managers fill them out themselves to pad the stats....

    My old district manager told me that success at The Home Depot is all about other people's perception of you. You don't have to be the best manager, you just have to project that you're the best manager. (Don't believe me? I have copies of every email I've ever received from him.)
