    Pros

Good sense of team and the ability to earn a six figure income

    Cons

They are completely unorganized. There’s salesforce system doesn’t allow for any quality of life. Customers are overcharged to cover mis-specs so they won’t come out of the salesperson’s commissions. Jobs sold take too long to get installed and customers are always left disappointed.

    Advice to Management

Hire install managers that are competent and that don’t lie to the customers. Respect the salespeople that work for you. Actually start to live the values you promote.

I worked at The Home Depot full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

-you can learn how low life managers and co-workers make their living using your hard work
-you will learn why is not good to help people and why you can not make favors in a work place like this
-you will learn how envy works in this work place, when you get a full time after 5 months and others ( lazy

people) waiting for 5 years have only part time
-you will learn why you should find a new job when salary is super low
-you will learn how bad people can be
-you will learn what a manager will do to you and your health to get a bonus

    Cons

you will end with no back or life mostly because , if you are a hard work person , everybody will take advantage

    of you
    -nobody appreciates your hard work
-managers are abusive and treat you like garbage
    -managers will suck your life
-there is no option to grow here, you can be here for years and have the same salary, in fact, new people will

    earn more than you
-nobody helps you to pick a nail, but everybody wants your help
-managers put too much pressure over you , you even have to do stuff you are not supposed to do and after

finish others job , you will have to do your own stuff

    Advice to Management

homedepot should instate values in their managers and take care of the people who help this company to grow.

somebody has to let the managers know that slavery ended in 1865

I have been working at The Home Depot full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

You are able to make unlimited money being commission.

    Cons

There is no worklife balance. Your days off are gone. I had more time off in the military then I do in this job except basic training. If you work 6 days a week that is about 72 hours in the week. Get food when you can between appointments. The store you are assigned to is just a number. If they have questions about the appointments you do not know because 85% chance you did not get them. Way to much time is on the phone to get leads put in for yourself and hopefully you get them. Will be driving over 45,000 miles in a vehicle at my expense due to the lack of confirmation of appointments because they are more worried about my time being taken up

    Advice to Management

Put the job in a salary like manager in the store that work 55 hours per week. Get company car so that there is alway transportation and vehicles can go out of service. Make shifts like the store and assign the people to the store to be there when no appointments are being run.

    Pros

Full time 40 hrs per week, paid sick time and vacation.
