    Pros

Schedule was great. They offer an overnight shift and a dry shift. The work is pretty easy. Part timers can often choose their hours.

    Cons

Lack of structure and leadership. Very little growth opportunity. Low pay.

    Pros

Good job would not trade for the world. I see a lot of good potential for myself. Always have the opportunity for advancement.

I have been working at The Home Depot part-time

    Pros

The pros are the customers they are friendly and sweet some of the staff is okay. They are some loving people in they always might sure everything is ok with you. The pay is ok but the schedule hours are the worst. The Home Depot has the best benefits I can not lie about that.

    Cons

I have been there for over a year. It's like you have to go to another store in order for you to get full time or for you to become a manger or DH.

    Advice to Management

I don't think you guys should hire other people instead you could make someone full time.

I worked at The Home Depot full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Ok starter job. If you kiss alot of butt the sky is the limit

    Cons

Since there is no real HR your pretty much on your own on certain things. Benefits are horrible. move up easy in the company, but once your up understand that if you are not into butt kissing you wont last long. You can be the most loyal associate but you are still expendable Unless you are at the pro desk or receiving they dont really care much about work life balance.

    Advice to Management

Take time to mentor associates and help people move up. Treat associates as humans not slaves. Open your mouth and fight for good associates if issues arise.

I worked at The Home Depot full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

If you kiss enough butt you keep your job until the next brown noser comes

    Cons

Managers Form alliances with the people willing to prance around behind them and kiss butt
You pretty much have to fend for yourself as far as HR issues are concerned. Hrs Suck

    Advice to Management

    Go Union
