I worked at The Home Depot full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people in the store to work with. Most Managers are willing to teach you.

    Cons

Other Managers have no idea of what they are doing and ride the supervisors to make them look good. Good Dept Supervisors do the Manager job and work the store with out the benefit of the better salary.

    Advice to Management

Take care of the Dept Supervisors. The ones that want to grow at THD should be tested for the position and their loyalty to the company and then should get promoted.

I worked at The Home Depot part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Easygoing work days and wonderful coworkers, not so easy hours and pressure from assistant managers who hate their jobs. Still a good experience.

    Cons

The schedules were usually bias and favorable to the elected employees for the most part. As well as lunch times and leniency.

    Advice to Management

    Equality always progresses
