    Pros

    flexible schedule for part time associates, easy hiring process, computer based training in your department when you start then hands on when you're on the floor

    Cons

    Flexible schedules not available when full time, upper management can be lazy at times, associates who do not do their job are not disciplined as much as they should be

    Advice to Management

    Take responsibility for associates when they do not do their job and discipline them accordingly, acknowledge associates who do a good job more often

    Pros

    Enjoyable place to wok. Even part time enjoy PTO Vacation days and sick days. Company belives in doing what it says. Every one share in the proffit sharing twice a yhear.

    Cons

    Watering the garden stock can get old after a while. Could use more team members a times. no other con I know.

    Better tracking of what is ordered vs what seems to be shipped.

    Pros

    I loved being able to learn information about any department I wanted to. I was also able to move departments throughout my years with the company. Also, very flexible when it came to my college schedule.

    Cons

    Certain management members seemed less concerned with fellow employees than others.

    you get a paycheck. but you have to work weird and late hours.

    Cons

    Work crazy hours. also have a lot of very young kids that it`s there first job,

    Part time people should work around full-time not the opposite.

    I worked at The Home Depot full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Customers on a budget will many times need out of the box thinking. While many employees don't have this ability, those that do will find HD a rewarding company to work for.
    Relatively normal business hours for most employees. (8 hour shifts)
    Helpful management and staff.

    Cons

    Customers can sometimes be arrogant, and occasionally you may stay a bit past your scheduled work times.
    No discounts on merchandise.
    Not really a whole lot of negatives though.

    Advice to Management

    Give discounts to employees, like a few other large home improvement stores.
