    Pros

Can be a job without too much stress since you're mainly selling and down stocking. Previous knowledge will help you, but isn't necessary if you're willing to learn. You must speak up about opportunities for career growth but if you do you will receive help from management.

    Cons

Scheduling is bare bones and oftentimes there are multiple departments with no one that knows how to help in them. Also, schedules are inconsistent, even at the full time level.

    Advice to Management

Hire a decent amount of people to operate the store and schedule coverage so more people don't get burnt out of covering everywhere else.

I have been working at The Home Depot part-time

    Pros

    Family oriented company, very flexible.

    Cons

I just recently transferred from state to state. Big difference, my last store had unity, management listened and treated you with respect, appreciation was always shown. and was always fair. My new store is not so fair or family like management treat 1 crew different that others. I don't get full breaks or lunches anymore and get treated like I'm bottom of the barrel. Been with the company almost 2 years and have received 11 homer awards. So I know it's not me, I still bust my but every day. I no longer even want to go to work.

    Advice to Management

    Management needs management and accountability

I have been working at The Home Depot full-time

    Pros

The pay is good and it's honestly why people stay.

    Cons

This review is regarding the conditions at the Tempe, AZ Contact Center ONLY. HR & Senior Management is corrupt. There is targeting, discrimination, unfair hiring practices, and retaliation. There is nowhere to report this information as the Associate Awareness Line sends complaints directly to the local HR office. Pest control is a major issue as there are bed bug infestations almost monthly. It would be appreciated if leadership notified associates of these infestations so that they may take precautions. If they find out who I am I will surely be fired.

    Advice to Management

Live your values. I know nothing will be done to correct any of these issues but your attrition will continue to increase. Why are all of your tenured associates leaving? Why are you unable to keep supervisors in the building? Why do you have a revolving door of individuals taking LOA's? The center looks good on LinkedIn though, and that's all that matters. Your associates are not happy. Grow them(and treat them fairly) or watch them go.
