I have been working at The Home Depot

    Pros

It can be fun if you like dealing with the public

    Cons

A lot of petty politics, favoritism. Management seems to favoritism over ability and productivity

    Advice to Management

Hire more outside managers. Store level assistant managers seem to only pro.ote idiots like themselves.

I worked at The Home Depot

    Pros

Home depot is a good place to work if you would like opportunities to promote within the company.

    Cons

I did not have an opportunity to grow here because i was in school fulltime. I did not experience any flexibility with my ASM. I got scheduled to work over my class schedule and when I called in they wrote me up. I do not believe this is home depot's policy , i just had a bad relationship with my boss.

    Advice to Management

I believe HD management does what they think is best for the company. Thats what they get paid to do.
