I have been working at The Home Depot full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Lots of development/training opportunities. Like any company, there are good and bad managers, but the good ones are far more numerous than the bad. The work environment is really good, and management does a lot for their employees.

    Cons

It's a call center, so entry-level can be difficult. And there aren't many opportunities to hone technical skills unless you get into a technical position, which means you'll have to move to their headquarters.

    Advice to Management

Keep hearing your employees and responding well to their desires/concerns.

I worked at The Home Depot for less than a year

    Pros

As an intern I was given incredible responsibility managing my own project. My team and my manager were incredibly helpful, answering my endless stream of questoins. We had townhall meetings with company executives every other week. For example, we had a chance to listen and talk to the CEO, CIO, CMO, and even Bernie Marcus the founder of the The Home Depot himself. The culture is incredibly strong at The Home Depot...
