I have been working at The Home Depot full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

They don't have enough associates to serve the pro. They are off on the weekends and it overloads the special service desk and delays the pro. Phone sales have been simplified by pay by text.

    Cons

You are over looked and they promote favorites with no skills. People get promoted by their popularity. The associates see this and get upset with management. Supervisors ask for help and are told to work it out themselves. Department Heads don't get paid enough to even want to work it out.

    Advice to Management

They need to stop allowing clicks to form very counterproductive

I worked at The Home Depot part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Opportunity for more hours, even for part time employees, great pay, great benefits, great people. managers are actual people who are in touch with what's going on in the store.

    Cons

It's almost impossible to get below 30 hours if you want to work less, shifts are done at random sometimes ignoring a need for coverage even on the weekends, almost always severely understaffed.
