    Pros

Home Depot is a stand-up company and they care about their employees.
They make a call center job better than usual.

    Cons

    Software/technology kind of sucks.
Still a call center job with customers yelling at you over online military discounts.

    Advice to Management

Invest more in making software used a lot more intuitive and more integrated.

I have been working at The Home Depot full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Competitive pay, inclusive company culture, trendy work environment

    Cons

Expensive healthcare, noisy and unprofessional work environment

    Advice to Management

This is my first call center job. If you have never worked in a call center , make sure you know what you're signing up for. The home Depot call center is a good one (for a call center). Work & life balance is not great. I've had to stay over so many times since a caller talks to much or is argumentative causing me to miss my bus. Work environment feels like everyone is talking over each other and loud music playing makes it hard to concentrate on calls. The home depot store associates that call in are often poorly trained and rude. Expensive healthcare that deducts much for coverage. Make sure you know what's you're getting into.
