    Pros

    No customers, they pay for mileage so that's nice. also, four 10hr shifts a week, weekends and fridays always off.

    Cons

    Overnight hours, relatively low pay. Manual labor type job

    Pros

    Medical and 401 Benefits,holiday pay,success sharing,career advancement,flexible schedules, and company paid training,tuition reimbursement.

    Cons

    Fast paced and very demanding work load with insufficient store coverage.Need flexible schedule due to retail demands,nights and weekends.

    Advice to Management

    Be fair to all employees and training for leadership roles,and more orange aprons (Associates)staffed during store hours.

    Skeleton crews are unacceptable in a customer service industry

    Advice to Management

    Instead of trying to satisfy shareholders, you should at least try to satisfy customers! Nobody in departments to assist is unacceptable. Not having anything but self checkout and a pro desk checkout is unacceptable

    I worked at The Home Depot part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Friendly people. Good company that has continued to grow. Good benefits for part time employment

    Cons

    Management was not receptive to any ideas, and did not uphold company values. My position was pigeon holed, and was not given tools to succeed. Multiple positions/departments working against each other. Commission was reliant upon others' ability to perform.

    Listen to employees when they talk

    No breaks for Head Cashier, inadequate training for job, no employee discounts, unorganized leadership

    Train your employees for their job. Offer employee disounts. Organize the store

    Excellent benefits, stock buying at reduced rate, profit share check twice a yr, able to transfer any where in the company.

    Cons

    Nothing is bad, you get an occasion poor management, but it rare them seem to rotate management out every 1 to 2 years
