I have been working at The Home Depot full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Company Match 401k, Discount on stock, Good hard day's work, Success sharing, among others.

    Cons

Low pay until you reach Management. Slow raise process, only once a year during reviews. Reviews are generic unless you stand out by highlighting EVERY thing you do and write it down.

    Advice to Management

Reviews should be tailored more specifically to the individual, not generic. I busted my tail for over a year and got a .47 raise to $12.97 per hour. Mentor more, be involved with those who want to advance and help them to do so.

Training was rushed a little and most of it was online.
