I have been working at The Home Depot (Less than a year)

    Pros

Growth Opportunities and bonus possibilities are great. Staff selection and personal development are a huge plus. Utilization of personal experiences into a way of merchandising and business growth.

    Cons

Work/Life balance is almost non-existent, while company attempts to structure itself around the balance as a core value, it is not a focus. The rack and stack mentality behind promotional advances allows people to not necessarily receiving the proper training to take on new ventures but allow for team favorites to receiving promotions over those qualified.

    Advice to Management

Never give up, never let them see it get the best of you.
