I worked at The Home Depot part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very relaxed working environment and dress code. They offer employment to the handicapped and mentally disabled community.

    Cons

Horrible pay. No benefits. The schedule is all over the place. They don't give the employees a discount. It's really a crappy job.

    Advice to Management

Honestly, I think their hands are tied. It's all a corporate issue.

I worked at The Home Depot full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Decent health insurance, safe atmosphere, a lot of nice coworkers

    Cons

Your coworker who has the same position may get paid more than you do even though you got hired at the same time, even though you have more work experience in that field. Especially if you're a minion, management doesn't listen very well, forgets easily, and doesn't give very good reasoning behind their decisions. Also, if you've been with the company for 12 years, depending on the position and when/where you get hired, you're lucky to make $14/hr. After 12years.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees when they say they would be better suited to a different position.
