I worked at The Home Depot part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible schedule, employees take time to get to know each other great culture/environment, some training (mostly from the aspect of selling, not very practical), management does not micromanage so long as you are working hard and they are supportive.

    Cons

It is retail, and they are willing to work you as hard as you can

    Advice to Management

It would be helpful if the schedule was created considering rush times of the day. Fairly low compensation.

    Pros

The company is growing and it is exciting to be a part of that growth. Lots of opportunities for advancement if you work hard.

    Cons

It’s retail. Hours vary and so do days off. Only two holidays that are guaranteed off...Thanksgiving and Christmas.

    Advice to Management

Better pay for hourly associates, especially Department Supervisors.
