      Negative Outlook
      Disapproves of CEO

I worked at The Home Depot part-time for less than a year

      Pros

Like all big corporations, it's the people around you that makes or breaks a job at the store. Some benefits are OK. Some supervisors are real good, others have no people skills or management skills. Good jobs for young people to work and enter job market. Not good for long term careers.

      Cons

Low pay, expecting you to be an expert in your department . Typical sales pressure to make money for top executives. Online learning constant added stress as you don't have time to meet diary dates. Management can be idiots as they are pressure for sales or they get fired. Low moral at store I worked at. Store open 7 days a week so expect erratic shifts.

      Advice to Management

Like all big corporations the bottom dollar is most important. Superficial happy family working environment but in reality high employee turnover. Low pay and bad management don't attract quality and faithful employees.
