I have been working at The Home Depot part-time (Less than a year)
co-workers are nice to work with and the home depot HR application system allows you to provide them with the times you are available to work and need off. Paid holidays and accrued sick time which is great benefit for a part time job.
no complaints other than the normal such as ignorant customers that need to get a life. But that is what it is when working with the public.

Helping people was the best. -- You are basically a piece of meat to be shuffled form day to random hrs. They care not of your knowledge and won't pay to keep you. OVERALL: GOOD FOR: Temp job or,...PERFECT FOR THE RETIRED
RANDOM DAYS / HRS...You never knew when you were working (this is the PART TIME world). Not Enough Help - Often only 2 assocoates left many customers unattended and (unhappy) STOCK - Hard to find (random SKU numbers although the product was tried to be kept in the immediate above)...(Forget trying to re-stock during ANY customer hours,...although they expected you to) - FULL TIME WORKERS CAN CHOOSE HOURS...
Advice to Management
Allow Part Timers to choose hours and days...(you will at least be guaranteed) -- KEEP YOUR KNOWLEDGE and offer better pay
Good work environment, fun to work for
Not enough hours or room for advancement
