I worked at The Hunoval Law Firm full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great salary and benefits despite the hostile work environment.

    Cons

Upper management is very unprofessional, clearly NOT knowledgeable about their jobs, and cause a very hostile work environment. Classic bully tactics!

    Advice to Management

If you have not already, two of the top executive management needs to be terminated due to fostering a hostile work environment. They are the reason employees are so unhappy!

I worked at The Hunoval Law Firm full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible schedule, a few people will speak to you, but that's it.

    Cons

There are quite a few cons. I went into this job with 3 years of experience and was treated as if I had no experience at all, my knowledge of the court system was completely ignored even though I had more experience than my attorney. Also concerning is that the documents were literally not reviewed by senior staff and only went to them to be signed. Thirdly, the management is bare bones to say the least. Don't expect an HR person who cares or wants to help you, because there is literally no HR. As far as who you report to, who knows. Lastly, don't expect a warm and friendly environment.

    Advice to Management

Reorganize, this is the most chaotic work environment I've ever seen. Also, don't worry about hiring people who will make your company look good, but worry about hiring people who make it FUNCTION.

I worked at The Hunoval Law Firm full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Absolutely nothing good about working at Hunoval.

    Cons

The most unorganized law firm I have ever worked for. Main branch in Charlotte has know idea of how the laws in South Carolina work. The accounting department is very unprofessional and is not on top of paying their vendors and as a result they did not get paid making it difficult to complete work.

    Advice to Management

Let the staff, who are very experienced, handle their daily business. There needs to be minimal interference with the main office.

    Pros

Good benefits, flexible work schedule, co-workers were awesome

    Cons

As someone else already posted, a very elite group in the upper management without a clear grasp of how everything works. It seems that either: when employees worked out all the bugs in their job they are being laid of, or when they are up for raises and therefore getting paid too much for certain people. Then new people are being hired for less money and they can ride on the procedures put in place by the people with experience before them. - Or it maybe just at the whim of that little group.

    Advice to Management

Get a better idea what your management staff does and understand that a large turn over is not healthy for a firm - word gets out.

I worked at The Hunoval Law Firm full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Lovely co-workers and casual work environment
Mr. Hunoval is great but his management team of two is terrible. Loved most my co-workers other than them

    Cons

Management acts like gossiping high schoolers. Most unprofessional law firm I've ever been in. Borderline bullies run this place.
    High turnover rate.
Lazy management who push unrealistic workload requirements as they sit and do nothing

    Advice to Management

    Grow up.
