      Pros

      I love the family vibe at ICEE. I have built some wonderful relationships here, both personal and professional. Management cares about employees. CEO and other upper management are very approachable and make a point to get to know everyone.

      Cons

      Workload can get a little stressful during busy season. PTO benefits could be more competetive with other employers nearby.

      Pros

      Excellent Job security, Plenty of room for growth for motivated individuals. I started as a Route Delivery Driver, and am currently a Field Operations Manager. Most of the Upper Management came up the ranks as well. The company pays competitive wages to employees who are worth keeping. The Co. provides vehicles, tools, uniforms (including nice jackets, hats etc), training, and other co. expenses. Good benefits, including 401K and stock options. The company has on line training for employees that are motivated enough to take advantage of it. They provide field technical support as well if employees are working on unfamiliar equipment.

      Cons

      I would like to see more incentive programs for route drivers and service technicians that go out of there way to drive safely, fix machines right w/o excessive call backs, and be productive. It seems like the best employees are equally compensated as the not so good employees.

      Pros

      -Compensated well -Plenty of overtime during the summer -Direct Management is great (in my branch anyway) -Micromanagement is low in comparison to similar positions at different companies -Stress levels are low -Most upper management came from a lower position in the company (not hired from completely random industries)

      Cons

      -Constantly giving ETA's is unproductive, could spend that time accomplishing work -Can be hard to retain skilled employees, especially Service Techs -Can be hard to fit in vacation as others have to pick up your slack -Summer can be extremely busy -Large trucks are difficult to navigate in gas stations with small parking lots -Upper management has too many reports

      Pros

      When I started at ICEE in 2003 it was a company that cared about it's employees. For the first couple of years it was great.

      Cons

      Company became more corporate minded and upper management started distancing itself from the employees. Accounting department was run on a different set of rules than customer service, which is hard to when the departments interact with each other. Every fall there is a purge of employees, usually the ones who are at the top of the pay scale. I saw 2 people who had been there 20 years let go. I was there 9 years without being written up for anything, then all of a sudden in 2012 I was getting written up. This led to my being terminated. There is also NO room for advancement in the corporate office.

      Pros

      401(K) Stock Options Most of the employees were easy to get along with.

      Cons

      Salaries that don't compensate for the hours that are put in. Big brother attitudes always spying on what is being done especially inside vehicles with cameras and listening devices. And the chosen few that reported to upper management regarding what was being said.

      Pros

      Was an awesome company till now. The only good thing out of them was the training to move on to a company who cares about their employees

      Cons

      Low pay, expect everything from you and you get nothing in return, have cameras in your van so they can spy on you, you can't even yawn while driving and that's not a joke upper management is a joke

      Pros

      Good insurance Plenty of overtime Company vehicle

      Cons

      Crappy upper management Reviews never done on time .50 cent yearly raise If you threaten to quit they will give you $2 to $4 to stay and give you golden deals. They don’t care if you dont have family plans Camera’s in the van Vans fall apart and dont get replaced fast enough They complain when you need a rental vehicle
