I worked at The Kennedy Center full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You have your own workspace. They provide all training necessary to prepare you for the job role.

    Cons

Supervisor I worked with was micromanaging all of the employees. It's difficult to have work/life balance. The pay could be better for the amount of work you have to do.

    Pros

Good company with a good mission. Laid back atmophere

    Cons

Good if you are looking to gain experience dealing with the developmentally disable, however most people stay there a few years to get experience and then move on to State jobs. The wages are embarassing and there hasn't been raises in years.

    Advice to Management

Get more funding from the state to raise wages, they are a joke
