I worked at The Keyholding Company full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great people, great management in a fast paced, growing and constantly evolving. There are opportunities for hard working staff. Opportunity for home working. This company is not for anyone who is not willing to work hard, it is challenging.

    Cons

    Staff benefits need to improve

    Advice to Management

Staff benefits need to improve, not adequate. Will help with staff retention

I worked at The Keyholding Company full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Having worked for the company for over 5 years, I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful whilst the management team were approachable with an ‘open door’ policy. It has been the only company that has allowed me to progress up the career ladder which in turn has given me the confidence to start my own business.

    Cons

Office location became a problem for me due to the lengthy travel route. However, this was greatly reduced due to management having trust in me and allowing me to work from home on a regular basis.

I have been working at The Keyholding Company full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Exceptionally friendly people at all levels of the business, and this comes across as 100% genuine. Senior team are very approachable and people in the office get on well, pitching in to help each other out when needed. Rewards are there if you're driven to improve yourself and your surroundings. However it's important to note that if you're looking for an easy role with no pressure to adapt and grow, you may not...

    Cons

Awkward location with limited parking, few options for lunch (unless you're a big fan of Tesco meal deals).

    Advice to Management

The approachable + transparent nature of the senior team is appreciated, I hope this continues. If I had to make one suggestion it would be to review the current staff benefits.

I worked at The Keyholding Company full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Descent colleagues but the only benefit is the local pub....

    Cons

Overworked and underpaid. No appreciation for the extra hours you put in - just expected to get the job done but with no help. Managers are useless and CEO is the worst ever. Talks a good talk but no evidence he means what he says. This is the last place I would leave my front door keys.

    Advice to Management

Be more honest and sincere. Treat staff with respect we're not robots.

    Pros

Can work from home, but be prepared for management to throw that back in you're face. Some nice people work here

    Cons

Management are trying to automatic things and get rid of staff. They say this isnt true, but clearly do not care for the employees as we are refered to as resources and expendable. Directors bury there heads in the sand and try to hide the real issues from clients, revolving door and staff cant keep up with retraining and the workloud.

    Advice to Management

Treat you staff like humans and realise that we are the only thing holding it together. Stop trying to hide these reviews by having directors adding 5 star reviews that are lies.

I worked at The Keyholding Company full-time

    Pros

    There isn’t any at all!!!

    Cons

This place is a sinking ship and everybody is getting out. About 6 months ago, they had a mass redundancy which the people’s directors advised against (she is a good friend). This caused moral to be rock bottom. People that were there for 5-10yrs started to hand in their notice & within another 6 months the bedrock of this company was gone (Including my friend who was the people’s director). And I haven’t even...

I worked at The Keyholding Company full-time

    Pros

The other keywardens (mostly) and direct line manager are a good bunch of guys to work with

    Cons

After many years with the company I had to walk away after being fed a loads of lies and false promises. Expected to ride motorbikes that are very poorly maintained by a useless workshop (forget to put brake pads in, don’t tighten wheel spindle, don’t replace chain & sprockets, etc) all to save a few quid. Pay is extremely low considering the risks of riding in all weather conditions in substandard equipment...

    Advice to Management

Listen and actually pay attention to your staff! Pay them a decent wage based on the conditions and the risk they are under by riding in London traffic! Give a better budget for rider equipment so they can actually buy some decent gear, not the cheapest they can get because budget doesn’t allow. Find a workshop that actually does a proper job on the bikes and have them checked on a regular basis (at least once a month)...

    - good work mates - always overtime available - works out to a lot of holiday (book 4 days get 12 off)

Thanks for this review. Lunch options can get a little monotonous, it's true. But the riverside location is great, especially when you get to walk through the park on the way back to the station. Thanks again
