The worst company I have had the displeasure working for
May 31, 2023 - Senior Project Manager in Highland, ILRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
If you like being yelled at by the upper management and being micromanaged, lied to, and treated like you are a moron this is the company for you.
Cons
Where to start -Toxic and very unprofessional leadership starting at the CEO -No morals or standards for operations from VP's -Continuous back biting and employees sabotaging each other to "keep thier jobs" -No support from any leader of upper management -Fraudulent pay apps sent to the Federal Govt. on multiple project -Not paying subcontractors for work done becuase they don't have the cash -Not paying subscontractors for valid change orders

Used to be a good place to work - believe all the new bad reviews
May 28, 2023 - Estimating -PreconstructionRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
At this point, there isn't much. Used to be a good firm to work for prior to all the senior management changes, which is a shame because they do interesting work. The primary redeemer is that there are some wonderful and truly talented and great to work with individuals who made putting up with the crap tolerable. That's not a reflection of the company though, it's the individual. Benefits are actually decent, the base pay is so-so but terrible when you put into perspective how bad you get treated and how much OT you put in with no other comp back.
Cons
If you're precon, run away. It's absolute tyranny at the very top. You will get blamed for any and everything (even if it is 100% a field error that cost $$$), you will have credit for your good deeds taken by middle management, but any issues, finger pointing - they do not have your back. There is better pay, better balance, and real opportunities for growth elsewhere (you'll be held back forever from any progress or promotion - I've witnessed this at all levels of precon/estimating and the young guys are smart and leave). If you're any good, you'll get ran into the ground while others are twiddling their thumbs; resource management is absolutely awful. I worked enough with project management and new folks that cycled in and out, the poor guys are overworked, under helped, and have the same issues in precon - no support, beaten down by senior management, and it is in your face abusive for those guys. Don't be wrong, or get unlucky by inheriting a project that you're the 3rd or 4th PM on because the previous ones quit - you will get cussed at, or screamed at, or both if you're really lucky. No group gets any kind of training. You are thrown in the ocean with nothing and expected to make it work. If you proceed forward - ask about their turnover over the last year, across the entire company. Not just the people they've let go with no reasons stated (while keeping the yes men or those who are incompetent) but also the long timers who are also leaving - even at the top levels of management.

Great company to start a career with in the construction industry.
Jan 4, 2023 - Project Engineer in Las Vegas, NVRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Good work life balance, very friendly and helpful co-workers. Upper management is easily accessible and always willing to help. This was my first job in the construction industry, and I learned a lot very quickly. The hybrid schedule also allows for flexibility for doctors appointments, working from home while sick, etc. Overall a very lovely company to work for!
Cons
Different PMs have different work styles and expectations of PEs, which takes time to adjust to.
