I worked at The Landings Club full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great environment to work and grow, plus great pay

    Cons

Sometimes you have to work long hours but that is the hospitality industry for you.

    Pros

The benefits, weekly pay, and member interaction is great. Some of the members can be a bit stodgy but most of the membership are just wonderful.

    Cons

Hours can be long and tiresome. Senior management behave in a good old boy's club mentality. It's uncomfortable for female staff working there. Wake up its 2016.

    Advice to Management

Look beyond the operations building and listen to the front line managers and staff working to take care of the members as best they can. Stop defending and protecting certain manager who is notoriously creating hostile relationships with reporting staff. Remove the cancer and you might find the harmony restored in F&B.

I worked at The Landings Club full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The Landings Club is a nice place to work especially if you are in school. They pay you once a week and you get two free employee meals a day (which saves you a lot of money). The members are mostly pretty nice people and its a great place to network because a lot of the people who live there are successful so they can give you some good insight on subjects. They have scholarship opportunities for employees. During the holidays the members show their appreciation which is always a plus.

    Cons

There is no real room for promotions, so it serves a great stepping stone (statement differs depending on the job) They don't allow you to use some of the facilities unless its late or really early.

    Advice to Management

You could use some entertainment for your younger members and it wouldn't be a bad thing to get some people of color in some positions of power. (Diversity never hurt anyone)

I have been working at The Landings Club full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The pay is good for a server. For the most part both employees and club members are nice.

    Cons

If you're not into politics then this isn't the place for you.

    Advice to Management

Focus more on overall sales and the upkeep of the club rather than personal relationships with employees.

I worked at The Landings Club full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Benefits are very solid
    Fantastic hospitality experience
Great for networking with Movers and shakers in Savannah
Loved the members for the most part

    Cons

Work/Life Balance for certain types of salaried employees

    Advice to Management

You were doing a great job when I left, so if it's continued in that direction, I think you're fine. I would suggest doing audits on directors though, to ensure they're pulling their weight in their departments. If managers have to work long hours and come in for problems, directors should be willing to as well at times.
