    Nice facility.
    Kids and parents are great.
Curriculum allows some creative freedom for lesson planning.

Management gives very mixed signals to teachers. Pay is low and benefits are not offered.

Listen to your staff and offer them the support they need. Give constructive criticism instead of scolding them for their mistakes.

I worked at The Learning Experience full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

EXCELLENT friendly, helpful staff and kind to each other. I took the job bc of tricia, the owner. she is wonderful. additionally, the assistant director is fabulous too. the director is a pill. she is abrupt, and often rude without remorse. they are terribly under staffed and there is no support staff for the teachers. there are too many kids who are constantly being shuffled about to maintain ratios. the parents are all very nice. they lowball the staff on wages and you have to really push to be paid more. i left bc i begged for 6 months to get the assistant i was promised and even though i was told there was room for advancement once there it was Very clear there was not.

    Cons

    no support
constantly spouting having an open dialogue but nothing is ever done

    Advice to Management

NO room for advancement. if you are a lead there is nowhere to go. their assistant director and director are going nowhere hence theres no ace to move up to

I worked at The Learning Experience full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Kids and families. It was fun to see the children grow and learn. These are the only pros about working at this daycare center.

    Cons

Pay, under staffed. Most of the teachers don’t care about kids. I seen many times were teacher has grabbed a palled and talked horribly two children and nothing was done about it

    Advice to Management

Hire better employees. Take Plants from other staff members more serious
