I worked at The Learning Experience full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

If you love kids and guiding new generations this is a great job. Lesson planning according to a great curriculum. Diverse classroom environment, great parents.

    Cons

The school is only as good as the people who own it. The owners can be real pains when they don’t make sure supplies is on point. I wasn’t paid well and still had to budget supplies for the classroom. Great teachers were treated like they were easily replaced no incentive to stay.

I worked at The Learning Experience full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great curriculum, nice staff and caring teachers.

    Cons

Super short staffed so nothing was consistent for the teachers or kids. Parents dropped their kids off in one room only to pick them up in another. Teachers had to put a smile on like it was okay for the parents sake but it was very overwhelming to have kids constantly dumped in your room all day till you were maxed out of ratios. Would have 26-27 kids most days and just when numbers were winding down, as pick ups became more frequent, they would move more kids up or down into the room so it was just constantly maxed out and so were we, as teachers.

I worked at The Learning Experience full-time

    Pros

Great curriculum and wonderful ideas on education - would be nice to see the teachers appreciated for all of the work that comes with working with this intensive curriculum.

    Cons

Seems to care more about the money and "saving face" than showing concern for the staff, families and children. Do not always treat their staff the way they deserve to be treated.
