Awesome and Encouraging Company for Early Childhood Educators!
Jun 8, 2017 - Infant Lead Teacher in Clarkston, MIRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
This company has given me an amazing experience at my first job. They have been so supportive of my education while working, and I wish that I could stay for the rest of my college years! This company offers paid time off, opportunities for furthering your education, opportunities for bonuses, and a positive working environment. Working closely with other people who are passionate about teaching children has given me many opportunities to grow as a person! I have nothing bad to say about them.
Cons
The only negative aspect of working here is how hard it can be when children move to a new classroom or stop coming, after forming such a strong bond with them, but thats life! It is balanced by how fun it is to watch them grow up.

Pros
All the children are a great group and community. The teachers and parents are amazing too, The best thing about working at TLE are the wonderful children who love to learn, who love you and connect with you as a teacher, and how you teach matters to them and helps them learn a lot. The teachers are a good group too who work together well and help the children learn and grow into good human beings and students.
Cons
The management has some communication problems. The owner isn't there often and isn't considerate about the staff and the changes the staff wants. The owner doesn't offer many benefits and options to grow even to the staff that's been working there for a long time.

Pros
The Learning Experience is a company that is passionate about early childhood education. The curriculum is amazing, detailed, and includes teaching children Spanish, Mandarin, Sign Language, and Enrichment. The corporate office has designed a curriculum that is detailed and easy for teachers to follow. The schools are clean, the environment is fun, and the TLE spirit is contagious. As an Area Manager I get to travel to different schools and meet different people. The corporate office staff is always looking to help and answer questions throughout the day. There is a lot of training and a tremendous amount of support. If you are passionate about working with children this is a fantastic company to start your career.
Cons
I do not have any cons at this time.

Pros
Working with children and developing relationships with families and staff members. That is all that I can think of.
Cons
The job is supposed to come with a quarterly bonus, and even though the school has doubled since I've been there, I have yet to see one. You will work over 50 hours a week with no availability for overtime because you're salary. It's not what you know, it's who you know. There is a huge lack of organization and very little to no training.
