    Negative Outlook

I worked at The Leela Palaces Hotels and Resorts full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    1. Aggressive growth plan with some very capable unit heads
    2. Gave autonomy to all functions in innovating and experimenting with best practices
    3. Almost celebrity status with other hotel brands of the time

    Cons

    1. Let down by some very impractical financial decisions
    2. The Leela Delhi was a complete waste of money and resources
    3. HR and Management became bureaucratic after Capt Nair left the helm

    Advice to Management

Please continue to empower your people. We went from "new kid on the block" to "has beens" in a matter of 3 years because we lost a lot of our core talent pool. Tiffs between the daughter-in-laws was and will be legendary! Please grow up.
