I have been working at The Liro Group full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

A lot of opportunities in NYC. Good career development. Great people. Not too corporate. Good reputation in the public sector. Growing young professional initiatives.

    Cons

No performance reviews. If you are working in a field office, you feel somewhat separate from the organization. Rarely get raises based on performance.

    Advice to Management

    Too top heavy.

    Advice to Management

loyalties to the ones who actually do your work and deal with your clients may be of benefit to LIRO in the long run/ a company is only as good as its employees/ this company will lay you off when you have completed THEIR work and made them look good to THEIR clients

I have been working at The Liro Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The LiRo Group is a diverse organization that is always engaged in exciting projects in the tristate and CA. The HQ is located in Nassau County, and an extremely talented workforce, that is dedicated and results driven, is employed here!

    Cons

None to report at this time.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

I worked at The Liro Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Anything other than a management position eventually has no pros. Managers only feed favorites and like to bully field staff.

    Cons

No management oversight. So long as billing continues for their position no one cares what they do to field staff. Don't take the verbal abuse or work every weekend and they limit your hours till you have to find another job. Major issue with sending field staff out without what they need. Any talk of a raise always a lie.

    Advice to Management

Reevaluate some great workers that you've lost and why Rocco. Your managers will lie, intentionally take or limit hours from field staff and you've lost staff to your competitors because of them without knowing. LiRo name starting to draw sneers in real world outside managements little cubicles. People develop resentment before leaving. No moral amongst field staff except for minorities or young women getting 70 hr weeks.

I worked at The Liro Group (More than a year)

    Pros

Work with some really great people, management is very flexible with your schedule. The people are the companies greatest asset.

    Cons

Most middle managers have a hard time relating to the people they work with because their skill set is often different and have a difficult time coping with change.

I worked at The Liro Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I really like the professional aspect of the job and working along other PE's.

    Cons

I really do not like the babyish antics of Liro employee's in this compamy. Grown men behave like children.

    Advice to Management

I have a lot of construction knowledge, so people like me should be hired for your company, Although, it seems to me that many people work because they look a certain way and not based on there work ethics.
