I have been working at The Meadows (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great company with a great service to the community!

    Cons

Communication with line staff is something that needs to be addressed.

I worked at The Meadows (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Everyone is pretty friendly for the most part. As long as you do your job, are reliable, and are nice to others then you don't have anything to worry about.

    Cons

The pay is not great at all. I worked there for three years, was their best and most reliable employee, and I left STILL making minimum wage. Would only recommend this job to a teen who's looking for a part time job in high school. Otherwise it's not worth it.

    Advice to Management

Pay closer attention to your employees. The owner of the business had met me a few times before in my three years of working and he always forgot my name/acted as if he didn't remember me.

  3. "High Turnover"

I worked at The Meadows (Less than a year)

    Pros

good pay and good coworkers. I learned a lot about mental health treatment and different mental illnesses. The hours were flexible since I was per diem.

    Cons

The management is unprofessional and there is a high turnover rate. I also felt as though the patients were not getting the adequate help they needed since staff often did not have training in mental health

    Advice to Management

My advice to management would be to hire more qualified workers.

Serving friends, few tips, can get hectic. Hard to stay out the custard. Can get messy/sticky l. Probably best as a summer job.

    Pros

Remuda Ranch believes in a bio-psycho- social- spiritual model. This treatment model has shown wonderful outcomes for patients. Allowing employees to pray with their patients and allowing patients to explore their spirituality along with other treatments is key to success.

    Cons

The location of the Milford ranch has been challanging. Being in such a rural setting away from hospitals in case of emergencies is very worrisome.

    Advice to Management

Continue to provide the spiritual concept in treatment model.

    Pros

Lovely people who work there. Have EMDR and other effective treatments. The medical director is one of the best Psychiatrist I have ever met. John Bradshaw is one of the senior fellows.

    Cons

It's costly so not accessible to all. It's in Wickenburg which made for a long 2 hour commute one way.
