I worked at The Medical Team full-time

    Pros

My favorite part of the job was hearing that clients were well taken care of and satisfied with their services. That made it all worthwhile.

    Cons

Wish every client were completely satisfied.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. The clients are the reason for the business.

I worked at The Medical Team (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They employ excellent nurses who are willing to put up with a lot of managerial challenges to remain devoted to their patients.

    Cons

There is constant turnover, lack of training suitable to assigned tasks, a lot of internal drama & dissatisfaction, and an administrator who lacks the experience & skill to properly guide the skilled nursing department.

    Advice to Management

Change course & start to value employees

I have been working at The Medical Team full-time

    Pros

Get to work with great people.

    Cons

At orientation it's always something new, no every other weekend off like they say, they say pay rate is negotiable but in some cases it's not. They won't their employees to be compassionate but can't be compassionate towards their employees. When it come to disciplinary actions they are biased towards certain people. Some of their clients are nursing home material not all are considered as being able to help us help them.

    Advice to Management

Get better organized, better communication and treat your employees with respect!!

I have been working at The Medical Team part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Patient centered care and get to create relationships and bonds with your patient and families.

    Cons

Scheduling is a huge issue. There's a shortage of nurses which can cause a disruption in pt care.

    Advice to Management

Hire more nurses. I can emphasis that enough. Also be sure to fully train them, especially with trach/vent patients. We need more competent nurses who are excited to be working with children.

I have been working at The Medical Team part-time

    Pros

if you need work right away and need pocket change, take the job

    Cons

Most dishonest shady employer Ive ever worked for. Staff is very rude and most of the office ladies have little or no experience or conduct to manage people. The high pay jobs do not exist. They con you into private duty immediately. Scheduler has no manners or real skill at management. HR is worse. Be ready to be shamed

    Advice to Management

Don't lie, hire people with professionalism and experience, and don't treat field people like objects

I worked at The Medical Team full-time

    Pros

Co-workers were wonderful, and sometimes the only reason I survived as long as I did.

    Cons

It was survival. Overworked. Stressed outside of work - expect phone calls, emails, and texts outside of office hours. Not enough coordinators. Said everything we did fell under our described duties. No room for growth or promotion. High, high, high turnover.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the suggestions of the coordinators.
