I worked at The Melting Pot for less than a year

    Pros

You only have to worry about working during dinner hours as they are not open for lunch

    Cons

There is a lot of side work for a restaurant. Most nights you will get off fairly late.

I worked at The Melting Pot full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

There is a lot of teamwork among the staff and it is a very unique concept with great customer service.

    Cons

There is a lot of really long and late night shifts. This leaves no time for personal life or time to spend with family.

    Advice to Management

There should be rotating shifts that way no one manager gets burnt out from having to close every single night.

I have been working at The Melting Pot full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The food and concept are good. Managing is easy if you know and understand the restaurant.

    Cons

Things are done differently at this restaurant because it is only fondue.
