I worked at The Miller Group as an intern

    Pros

very hands on as an intern, you can basically be involved in anything if you ask.
got to listen in on prospective client calls and go to a new business meeting.
got to pitch ideas for campaigns.

    Cons

The space is very small. Only Gary, Renee, myself and the other two interns would be working in the room all day.
I think I caught the company at a bad time, when there was only a client or two in contracts with the company, so I was mostly doing new business acquisition.

    Advice to Management

Gary and Renee are very kindhearted, but I would suggest that you have all interns work part time and be very explicit with interns about the workspace experience.

    Pros

The agency is mid-sized, so as an intern there is the opportunity to become an important part of the team. The project work is very diverse and the agency is basically covering all aspects of marketing. The atmosphere is personal and people are very open-minded, since the agency constantly hosts international interns from all over the world.

    Cons

Project work requires good time management and there is a risk that you cannot handle multiple projects that are being done.

    Advice to Management

Thanks to our executives for offering such great opportunities for individual creativity and always having an open ear for questions and concerns.
