      Pros

It’s a easy job to do perfect for college students

      Cons

Management has become nit picky with a lot of things which makes the moral come down at times. You only work 6 hours, pay starts at 80% for a year and goes up to 90% after a year then 100%

Culinary Union and they always need sous chefs.

        Cons

If you are part time they will only call you in to replace 3 call outs. So you are barely making hours or managing a giant workload.

                Pros

Great diversity - People with amazing stories Tips/Commission Point system very beneficial total of 14 points/times, yearly (to call out of work) Dry cleaning for uniform Smaller property feel - Employee self parking is closer to than other properties.

                Cons

You're goal as a Front desk clerk is to knock out the check in/out line, definitely feels like a modern human slave. This can be very stressful job due to what is expected of you in fast passed environment. Guest can be extremely rude and inconsiderate Management is always micromanaging. Front desk Director and Senior HOM love to intimidate their employees with fear tactics.

Applying for 2 internal promotion positions within the same company each in a different state in the US. Should you mention this while in the interview stages of both positions?

Was told by an company I was interviewing with I would hear back from them the first week of December. The last time we spoke was before Thanksgiving, as I'm trying to respect their decision-making process. Should I reach out again now that we're closer to the date?

When negotiating salary over the phone, can you mention that you know what the salary is for the position you're applying for? E.g. I know people at the company I'm interviewing for in the exact level that I would be in who are making about 15k more than what I am expecting to be offered. Can I say, "I know Managers at this firm make xyz so I would like to be close to that number"
