    Almost perfect

    Pros

-Amazing mission that attracts people who are truly here for the cause -A leadership team that genuinely cares about its people -Strong company culture and all around great people to work with

    Cons

-TMP is not a tech company, it’s a staffing company so the pay is lower than what you see for comparable engineering roles at technology and software startups -Contrary to our branding and external communications, the company is not remote or flex friendly. Prior to the pandemic forcing us to go fully remote, only select strategic hires and the CEO's college friends were allowed to work remotely while everyone else was required to be in the office 4 days a week from 9-5. The team has raised this several times in company town halls only to be dismissed by the executive team with vague explanations and catch all phrases such "we're better together." No one really believes this given that our CTO who runs 3 highly collaborative departments does not live or work in Chicago. Ironically enough the company is now positioning itself as a leader in the future of work and is even providing remote work consulting services.

Walks the Walk & Talks the Talk

    Pros

We're building a better workforce for moms, dads, and allies - it's not easy to do something that's never been done before and to break decades of "norms", but everyone on the team shows up daily do to the work, and it's thrilling to be surrounded by people who are passionate, intelligent, and dedicated to the mission. Talk about a thrill.

    Cons

Like I said, we're building something brand new, that comes with its own challenges, but also comes with some unique opportunity to contribute in big ways to solving the problems we're determined to solve.

    Wonderful place to work!

    Pros

They truly practice what they preach-flexibility for everyone (not just working parents), focused on helping everyone grow in their careers, and tons of actual useful perks (health and wellness stipend, full benefits, working from home stipend, yearly training and upskilling stipend, etc...). I also cannot stress enough the amazing inclusive and open culture. They truly value everyone's opinion and keep everyone informed on how the business is doing and what upper management is doing to grow the business in a diverse and inclusive way.

    Cons

There have been no cons in the almost year I have been with the company

    Pros

Working for a company that puts family first and supports working parents...and makes it their mission to only work with companies that do the same. Great growth opportunities and a feeling of being part of something important.

    Cons

Little behind on some benefit/perk options that are encouraged for customers to offer, however, they are constantly adding updates to these offerings.
