I worked at The Nation Traffic full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It is a good place to gain experience, international environment, no specific experience needed.
Some choices to move to higher positions but it can be frustrating

    Cons

Very hard to get a salary rise, conditions are usually fixed when you start working, after it is almost impossible to improve your employment conditions, need to fight for any benefit, like a parking lot, when there is plenty of place...
Promotion to better positions based on personal relations with the management rather than your personal skills.
Too many mediocre employees that come to warm the chair instead of working, too many good people left because of the management unwilling to understand their career needs...

    Advice to Management

Employees evaluation is a joke, no one takes it seriously. Too many average people on management positions, no career planning, very few options for talented employees. Projects get stucked very frequently, project management is unprofessional, too many people lacking skills to accomplish their tasks and fulfill their positions.

    Pros

Annual salary increase, bonuses, courses on the company's expense. Once a year they arrange A five-star resort for all employees.

    Cons

A rather boring work type and repetitive tasks over the years.

    Advice to Management

    Make rotation between similar positions.

I worked at The Nation Traffic full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Never routine in the dynamic online gaming industry

    Cons

Below market salary and not enough perks

    Advice to Management

The company has done exceptionally well to grow in the past few years. Unfortunately because of the lack of perks and low wages, the turnover of employees is quite high. In terms of the work vibe, the company is a fun place to spend time at and the amount that one can learn is phenomenal. This is the school for online marketing in Israel.

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at The Nation Traffic full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The people who work at the Nation Traffic are on the whole pretty great. Most of the staff is friendly and nice to work with. The staff are a mix of people from many different countries making the atmosphere very diverse. The company either will through an annual all out party or take the entire company on a trip for 2 days and these are always amazing and fun and really boost moral.

    Cons

The company seem to have a policy that everyone is replaceable, which leaves staff feeling like they don't mean much to the company. It is very hard to get promoted, especially as a woman. The pay is not amazing compared to other similar companies in the same industry. Moral has not been too great as of late since there was a lot of people who quit recently.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate the staff you have more and show them they are appreciated.
Promote people give them raises to let them know they are worth something to you.
Its better to keep existing employees happy instead of letting them walk out and then have to replace them. It is economically smarter and also boosts the moral of the other employees, so that they feel they too have a future with the company. Talk to your employees about changes that are occurring or will occur. Let them know where they stand. Try to smile more.

"The biggest of its kind in Israel, but still anonymous"

    • Senior Management
Current Employee - Anonymous Employee in Tel Aviv-Yafo (Israel)
Current Employee - Anonymous Employee in Tel Aviv-Yafo (Israel)

    Pros

Wealthy company with big budgets that allows experimenting with less obvious solutions.
In VERY good times - some bonuses are given (though small).
Very nice facilities (both offices of the company).
Very good growth potential (in terms of market status and size).

    Cons

The senior management is bad in many ways:
    - The way they lay people off
    - Sharing and consulting with mid management and employees
    - A lot of unnecessary spending
    - No obvious path for promotion
    - A LOT of false promising by the management for existing employees (to keep them) and new employees (to recruit them) in terms of salary, company status, atmosphere, promotions and well being.
    - Management keep the cards close.
    - Low to Average salaries for employees (better for mid management)
    - Incompetent people in key positions, without proper knowledge or management skills.
    - High demands but limited resources

The cons stated above are felt in many departments (both in the the marketing & operations and support division).

    Advice to Management

Employ a semi annually mandatory feedback mechanism for employees to give feedback to their superiors and colleagues, you'll be surprised how bad things are in some cases and what kind of people you employ. You're currently seeing only part of the picture.
