    Pros

Great Benefits and some nice people.

    Cons

Good ole boys club in some departments of OSU. Training was extremely unorganized and manager did not listen to employees. Don't get on anyone's bad side or they will form together to get you out of there.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the people who are actually doing the jobs.

I have been working at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

-Excellent retirement OPERS (if it is still around)
    -Competitive pay
-Health insurance (if you are willing to pay for it and go to their providers only)

    Cons

-Parking. Prepare to pay close to 1000 a year to avoid the shuttle. If you are shuttled prepare to leave 30-45 minutes early to get to work on time.
    -Union dues
-Parking and union dues bring down salary, and they go up every year along with insurance
-More with Less ideology pervasive with higher ups
-Mandatory overtime because they do not want to hire more employees

    Advice to Management

-More with less doesn't work when your clients are actual people that need to be taken care of
-Go and see what your employees do
-Clean out your ears and listen to the people who are doing the work that provides you with money
