    I have been working at The Olympic Club part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Very fun job that allows you to interact with kids and teach them basketball as well as how to grow into respectful young adults.

    Cons

    Employee treatment can be harsh sometimes. Members of the club occasionally do not respect employees.

    High compensation compared to average salaries in the area
    Membership is enjoyable to work for

    Cons

    The two clubhouses don't work in correlation with each other
    Miscommunication between management causes issues throughout the operation
    Upper management/hr is afraid to handle difficult situations
    Work life balance isn't a priority

    Advice to Management

    Put money into the operation and value your employees more. Establish a better work life balance culture and less management turnover will occur.

    Great environment to work in. All of the facilities are beautiful.

    Cons

    Most management is hired in house (work their way up), this cause problems because they are stuck In routine and can't view change as positive

    Never hurts to try new processes.

    Friendly members, consistent, flexible work schedule, excellent compensation.

    Cons

    Managers could be a bit more communicative. No health coverage for LMTs.
